David Fallows appointed Cumbria Cricket Male Performance Director

David Fallows appointed Cumbria Cricket Male Performance Director

We are delighted with the appointment of David Fallows as our Male Performance Lead. David is returning home after leaving Bromsgrove School where he was the Director of Cricket. David was the first Cricket Development Officer for Cumbria until he left in 2002, to take up a position at Sedbergh School.

Cumbria Cricket Director of Development Bob Simpson said: “This appointment demonstrates both Cumbria Cricket Ltd and Cumbria County Cricket Club’s (Cumbria CCC) intention to drive the professionalism of developing cricketers to feed into our representative teams, emerging players programme, Cumbria CCC, First Class academies and First Class cricket.

“We have a strong track record in developing players to feed into the First Class game and England teams, and it is our ambition to continue this alongside the need to feed quality players into our leagues.

“I am delighted to have David back in Cumbria and leading the performance arena. It also underlines how closely we work with Cumbria CCC, as David’s role starts with the County U11s and runs all the way through the pathway to the development team and the County first team.”
