As cricket continues to evolve and develop, as a cricket board, we strive to evolve and develop alongside it.
Accountability, rigour, transparency and inclusiveness are key to the future of Cumbria Cricket and our ambitions of creating a generation of Cumbrians inspired to say that “cricket is a game for me”.
The new directors have been recruited to help support the mission of the Cumbria Cricket, and take collective responsibility for strategic oversight and to uphold the values and culture for Cumbria Cricket Ltd.
Liam Burns
“I’ll be working to support the Cumbria Cricket family to maximise opportunities for everyone to participate in Cricket, from All Stars and Dynamos through to the County Pathway Programme. I also want to identify and replicate best practice countywide, and for Cumbria Cricket to be seen nationally as a shining example for others to aspire to and a model of excellence.”
