BBC Look North recently visited CCCC to discuss plans for the future

BBC Look North spent time with CCCC at one of their winter training sessions to see what plans they have for this season and beyond.

The club are looking for investment to create a coherent player pathway, form All Stars through to the senior CCCC team and in to 1st class cricket. This is a joint strategic objective with Cumbria Cricket Ltd.

We have produced a conveyor belt of brilliant players that have progressed to the professional game; Ben Stokes, Liam Livingston, Jordan Clark, Graham Clark, the list goes on.

With a population of just 500,000 people in the 2nd geographically largest county in England, it is a phenomenal achievement. Imagine what could be achieved with additional investment.
