We are delighted to unveil Cumbria Cricket’s new mascot Stumpy, who will be helping out with our youth cricket and safeguarding work.
Stumpy was designed by Robyn-Grace and will be a great presence in our community work to ensure young people know cricket is a game for them.
As a reward for her great design, Robyn-Grace was handed a £50 Amazon voucher from Cumbria Cricket Managing Director Bob Simpson.
Stumpy signifies the start of the Listening Clubs project that Cumbria Cricket are working on with in partnership with Active Cumbria. This project is aiming to ensure children involved in cricket in Cumbria feel listened to and able to influence the sessions provided to them.
