We are delighted to announce that Cumbria Cricket will be sending three representative teams to tour India in Spring 2027.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our players to tour two cricketing hotbeds, and have unforgettable experiences both on and off the field.
The touring party will consist of the Boys U18 team, Girls U18 team and our Tier 3 Women’s Representative team. Each squad will consist of 14 players, making a total of 42 tourists.
In addition to the cricket, the tourists will undertake excursions to some of the wonders of the world, including Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
The organisation of the 2027 tour follows the first Cumbria Cricket tour to Sri Lanka in 2024.
Cumbria Cricket Head of Performance Pathway, David Fallows, said: “Sri Lanka was a fantastic opportunity for our talented pathway players to develop and test their skills on a bigger stage. It was a tour where all players created memories that will stay with them forever. We know this tour to India in 2027 will deliver a similarly amazing experience for everyone.”
The tour itinerary has been put together with support from our friends at Lions Sports Travel, who were also instrumental in organising the tour to Sri Lanka in 2024. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support.
