We have been running our Early Engagement Programme (EEP) over winter to get as many children inspired by cricket as possible.
Programmes have been running in South Lakes and Barrow, with a total of 43 boys and 28 girls taking part.
We have had some great reactions from parents. Swipe through below to read them
Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the EEP sessions. She gained a lot from the coaches who made it fun and age appropriate. Having this opportunity has enabled her to grow in confidence and develop her cricket skills. The sessions were fun and she particularly loved the mini games at the end of each one. It would be great to have the possibility of future sessions.
I had a son (Year 6) and a daughter (Year 8) on the programme, and they both really enjoyed it.
Both my children really enjoyed the sessions. It was fabulous to have some cricket in the autumn for them. It was easy to get them signed up, inclusive and fun. A great location and a bonus getting a drink and a snack on arrival. Thank you very much
