Early Engagement Programme to run this winter

Early Engagement Programme to run this winter

We are running a series of Early Engagement Programme sessions over the off-season to help young players make the step to Cumbria Cricket pathways.

These softball sessions are free of charge and are a brand new feature for the 2025-26 winter programme. They are designed for children aged 8-12 and act as a bridge between Dynamos and the Cumbria Cricket Pathway.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get onto the Cumbria Cricket Pathway, which has produced several England players in recent years, including England test captain Ben Stokes, and England U19 Women’s star Olivia Brinsden.

The sessions will in Barrow, Carlisle, Kendal and Workington, with 24 boys’ spaces and 24 girls’ spaces available in each area. The programme will run for six weeks, with the boys’ group and girls’ group getting three weeks each.

No equipment is required and children will be provided with a snack.

Places will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.
