Clubs are encouraged to run a Get Set Weekend to get their facilities ready for the start of the 2024 cricket season.
The Get Set Weekend has for many years been a pre-season focal point for clubs up and down the country.
The weekend is a fantastic opportunity to inspire new and existing volunteers to spend time at their local club, helping it to ‘get set’ for the upcoming season.
This year, Get Set Weekend is taking place across 23rd and 24th March.
However, we appreciate this weekend may not be suitable for all clubs and you can run your events on alternative dates.
The Get Set Weekend is powered by The Cricket Collective; the volunteers who drive and deliver all areas of the sport. In 2022, over 20,000 people got involved across England and Wales, supporting their clubs and local communities.
We are encouraging clubs to register for the Get. Set Weekend on the form below and we have 1,000 cash prizes and Resource Packs on offer for registered clubs to win.
The ECB has also provided a Cricket Collective booklet and Cricket Collective task list template to help your club on Get Set Weekend.
To help drive local engagement and support in recruiting volunteers for your Get Set Weekend and beyond, the ECB has also created a number of posters, images and resources for you to use accessible via the ECB Resource Hub.
To sign up for the Get Set Weekend, fill in the form below before Thursday 29th February and start using #GetSetWeekend on your social media channels.
