As part of our recent District Cricket days, the Girls rep teams have been decided for the next phase of the Marylebone Cricket Club Foundation Regional Day on July 27th & 28th.
This was the first year of district cricket for girls in Cumbria. They played girls of similar abilities and it was a huge success for them to build on.
Standout performances included Leah scoring 53 not out in the U14s, where Niamh was also outstanding with the ball and took 4 for 5.
In the U17s, Scarlet and Libby both scored 40s and Ruby took 4 for 7.
The North U17s will now go on to represent Cumbria in the regional competition.
