Sunday saw us run our first ever Women and Girls Indoor Finals Day at Ullswater Community College to finish off a fantastic indoor season.
A total of six teams took part in the day, including a Girls Final, two women’s semi finals and a Women’s Final.
The day was competitive and fun; played in good spirits with plenty of talent on display.
The U13 Girls Final saw Arnside take on Netherfield, with Arnside coming out on top to earn the title of 2026 County Girls Champions.
The Women’s semi-finals saw Barrow overcome Penrith and Threlkeld beat Sedgwick, and it was Barrow who would go on to win the final and become 2026 County Women’s Champions
Cumbria Cricket’s Women and Girls Development Officer, Meg Lewis, said: “A massive well done to all the women and girls involved, you were all brilliant! We are already looking ahead to making it bigger and better next winter!”
