It is a once in a lifetime cricket tour for forty two young players from Cumbria.
They will travel overseas, learn new skills, play competitive cricket and experience a different culture.
The tour includes:
It gives young people experience they cannot get at home.
It builds confidence, identity, friendship and ambition.
It helps raise the standard of cricket in Cumbria for boys and girls now and in the future.
The tour costs around £3,400 per player, plus kit.
This covers flights, accommodation, transport, food, coaching, match costs, and the staff needed to run the tour safely.
Every pound you raise goes straight off your own tour bill.
It only reduces your cost.
None of your fundraising goes anywhere else.
Not until your tour costs are fully covered.
Only when your child’s bill is paid in full would any extra funds help the bursary.
The bursary helps young people in Cumbria who may not be able to afford future tours or cricket opportunities.
It removes financial barriers and supports families who need help.
Your fundraising helps your child now.
Any surplus helps future children take part, so no young person is excluded because of money.
Yes. That is separate from tour fundraising and is completely optional.
Yes. Local and national businesses can support players, kit, events, tour stories, or women and girls cricket.
This helps reduce the cost of the tour and strengthens cricket across Cumbria.
