The standout perofmrnace came from opener Darren Nightingale, who scored 128 from his 103 deliveries, and he was well supported by Freddie Fallows, who scored 50 from 31 balls, giving Kendal a total of 303-7. Furness pro Promod Maduwantha was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3-51.

Furness looked strong in their reply, with Samson Storey continuing the impressive ball striking with 77 off 72, along with Tom Smith, who made 33 from 57. However, a great bowling display from Kendal’s Brad Early (3-28), ground the Furness innings to a halt and secured the trophy for Kendal with a 112-run margin.
