Cumbria Cricket Ltd is committed to ensuring everyone involved in Cricket in Cumbria has a safe and enjoyable experience.

We are, therefore, delighted to be able to offer two new online courses in conjunction with the ECB, to ensure everyone within the Cumbria Cricket Family has the appropriate level of safeguarding training.

The two new courses are:

Introduction to Safeguarding (30 mins)

‘Safeguarding is Everyone’s Responsibility’ so whatever your role in cricket, everyone should understand the importance of keeping children, young people and adults safe. 

Safeguarding for Specialist Roles (60-75mins)

These courses are for all those who have a specialist role in cricket including Coaches, Activators, Officials, Committee Members, Captains and Club Safeguarding Officers. 

If you perform a specialist role in cricket we ask you to complete the ‘Safeguarding for Specialist Roles’ first and then proceed to complete the appropriate top up module below: 

• Safeguarding for Captains and Team Managers 
• Safeguarding for Coaches and Activators 
• Safeguarding for Officials (Umpires and Scorers) 
• Safeguarding for Committee Members and Club Safeguarding Officers
