Aspiring female cricketers across Cumbria will be able to access free coaching sessions across three Girls’ Cricket Hubs from early 2025.
Following on from the success of our Girls’ Cricket Hubs hosted in Keswick and Appleby in 2024, we’re excited to be hosting the hubs in both venues this year, in addition to a third in Ulverston!
All girls registering for our free Girls’ Cricket Hubs will receive a series of 10 90-minute cricket coaching sessions, one a week, from January through to March.
Girls are more than welcome, regardless of ability level, with complete beginners encouraged to join us to get their first taste of cricket. Most of the coaching – especially for younger players – will initially be carried out with softball, progressing to hardball.
Everything is completely free-of-charge and all equipment will be provided. Sessions are delivered by our professional qualified male and female coaches.

ULVERSTON
U12s
Thursdays at Glaxo Sports & Social Club
Starts: Thursday 16th January 2025, 5pm-6.30pm for 10 weeks, excluding half-term
U14s-U16s
Mondays at Ulverston Victoria High School
Starts: Monday 6th January 2025, 7pm-8.30pm for 10 weeks, excluding mock exams and half-term (therefore, the second week will be Monday 3rd February)
