In 2027 Cumbria Cricket will take 42 under 18 boys and girls on a historic tour to India and the UAE a once in a lifetime opportunity to inspire ambition develop leaders and showcase our county to the world.
For the first time boys and girls from across Cumbria will step forward together as one squad representing not just a county but a movement.
This is more than a tour It is a statement of who we are becoming.
Places will be awarded through a transparent and inclusive pathway ensuring representation from every part of Cumbria.
There are 42 places available and we are determined that no player will miss out because their family cannot afford it.
This tour is about changing lives not just playing matches
Cost kit travel and fees put cricket out of reach for some families.
Distance rural locations and long travel times limit opportunity.
Facilities pitches nets and indoor spaces need urgent improvement.
Progression until now many talented players had to leave Cumbria to progress.
