We are delighted to once again be hosting the Cumbria ECB Grassroots Cricket Awards on Friday 7th October at the North Lakes Hotel, Penrith.
The awards celebrate volunteers, and others, from all areas of the cricket community who have gone above and beyond to help develop cricket in Cumbria!
We are currently seeking sponsors to join us on this fantastic night celebrating the efforts of our Cumbria Cricket Family.
In addition to the benefits sponsorship can bring to your organisation, a significant proportion of your sponsorship money will go towards developing grassroots cricket in Cumbria. This ensures we continue to provide opportunities for everyone in the county to get involved in the game we love!
We have two sponsorship packages available for companies and organisations.
Package 1
Title Sponsorship (£500) (1x package available)
As the Title Sponsor for our evening, your organisation will be intrinsically linked to our Grassroots Cricket Awards evening.
This means your business will gain exposure every time the Awards are mentioned in Cumbria Cricket digital communications (website articles, social media, emails). In addition to this, as the Title Sponsor, your brand will be mentioned during all promotion, both online and offline, by Leagues and Clubs across our community.
In addition to this, we will provide four organisation-specific social media posts from the Cumbria Cricket Facebook and Twitter accounts, which are followed by 3,500 people across Cumbria, to help introduce your brand to a potential new audience.
Furthermore, your organisation will benefit from the following:
- A full-page advertisement in the event brochure.
- The opportunity for your organisation to place branded banners around the room on the evening of the Awards
- Your company logo on staff email signatures
- A three-course meal and wine at the awards ceremony
- A hotel room for the night

Package 2
Award Sponsorship (£200) (8x packages available)
By sponsoring one of our eight Grassroots Awards, you have the opportunity for your brand to be exposed every time your sponsored Award is mentioned. This includes Cumbria Cricket digital communications (website articles, social media, emails), as well as any promotion by Clubs and Leagues from the Cumbria Cricket Family – both online and offline.
In addition to this, we will provide two organisation-specific social media posts from the Cumbria Cricket Facebook and Twitter accounts, which are followed by 3,500 people across Cumbria, to help introduce your brand to a potential new audience.
On the night, you will have the chance to present your Award to our winner.
Furthermore, your brand will benefit from the following:
- The opportunity for your organisation to place branded banners around the room on the evening of the Awards
- A description of your organisation in the event programme.
- Your company logo on staff email signatures
- A three-course meal and wine at the awards ceremony
